BANK OF RAW MATERIALS

Circular products through sustainable use of materials and high-quality design

ACCESS TO OUR RAW MATERIALS BANK

Using our materials for your own sustainable, customized product

You too can make use of our circular raw materials bank. We convert your idea for a promotional gift or private label product into a customized product design. We always produce this locally and as socially as possible.

Working with recycled or upcycled materials is just that little bit 'different' than working with new materials. Fortunately, we have extensively tested, used and retested the materials. We can therefore tell you everything about the properties and possibilities.

LIMITING CO2 EMISSIONS

Why recycled & upcycled materials?

By working with recycled and upcycled materials from Europe, we exclude an important part of the pollution within the textile industry. Many environmental effects occur in the initial phase of production. Think of the cultivation of plant fibers or the extraction of raw materials such as crude oil, from which synthetic fibers are made. These production phases are very resource intensive.

The consumption of water, energy and chemicals, but also the discharge of waste water and the emission of dirty air have a major impact on the environment and the people who work and live there. We skip this initial phase with our materials. In addition, they do not have to cross the ocean. This significantly reduces CO2 emissions.

We are proud of our circular raw materials bank. This shows that waste can be used in a positive way.

We have listed a selection of our unique materials for you. Curious about the possibilities or other questions about our raw materials bank?

SUSTAINABLE AND CO2 NEUTRAL

Recycled Paper

We are happy to advise you about the different sustainable paper types. For example, you can choose from 100% recycled paper, paper made from stone, agricultural waste or jeans. Each type of paper has its own environmental impact and savings.

It is even possible to make paper from your own waste. To be able to process that, we need about 2200 KG of waste. This paper is produced in the Netherlands, which also significantly reduces CO2 emissions.

If a choice has been made for a sustainable type of paper, we then print it CO2 neutrally with bio-based ink. Think of books, notebooks, mailings, menus, stationary, annual reports, etc. This can of course be combined with one of our other materials.

CIRCULAR WOOD PRODUCT

Local wood waste

Every year, thousands of trees are cut down in the Netherlands. These undervalued municipal trees are mainly processed into wood chips and mostly burned.

A shame, because every tree has a meaning for its environment and the world. We want to preserve the value of this wood and spread the meaning.

We see the wood as a valuable harvest for our environment for everyone to enjoy.

Therefore, with Circular Wood we give these trees a new life in, among other things, natural sustainable drinks boards.

With this you not only have a special product, but also a product that meets all circular goals. For every 10 boards sold, we also plant 1 new tree back in Africa through Tree By Tree. In this way we want to close the circle and give back to nature what we have used.

PET FRIENDLY FRUIT LEATHER

Vegan appeal

The leather-like material of our apple leather is made from the remains of apples from the juice industry in Italy. 1.4 KG of apples are needed to make 1 liter of juice. The skin, core and dried pulp is what remains after pressing.

By recovering these residues, grinding them and then processing them into the apple leather, we limit not only waste management costs, but also damage to the environment. In addition, this natural waste is also used to replace other raw materials of chemical origin in production, reducing emissions and energy consumption throughout the production chain. For example, the apple waste replaces up to 50% of what was previously fossil.

In addition to the fact that the material is made from waste, is vegan and is produced in Europe, the developer is working daily to increase the impact of the material and to make it 100% circular in the future. This allows us to help build an even better and more sustainable alternative.

Characteristics:

  • Vegan - PETA approved material
  • Produced in Italy
  • USDA certified product
  • 31% biobased
  • The PU layer consists of 41% apple remnants and 59% PU

Vegan alternative to animal leather

Cactus leather

By cutting off ripe leaves from cactus plants, drying them under the sun for several days and then processing the organic raw material into cactus leather. This innovative material is then transformed into an animal-friendly material with the stylish look of leather.

Characteristics:

  • PETA approved animal friendly material
  • USDA organic product
  • Partially organically degradable

an innovative leather made of OLIVE kernels

Vegan olive leather

This olive leather is an innovative bioproduct and is made from the seeds of olives. When producing olive oil, these kernels are normally discarded, resulting in a large pile of residual waste. By chopping and pulverizing these kernels, combined with a little PU from renewable sources, a coating can be made and this "waste" is given a function in the form of olive leather.

Characteristics:

  • Animal friendly material
  • 70% bio mass content
  • GRS certified

REUSED TEXTILE WASTE

Recycled Cotton

We use unique fabrics based on recycled cotton. The fabrics are made from recycled cotton yarn, from cutting waste from or actually worn textiles that can be recycled. These recycled cotton yarns are always mixed with new cotton yarns, which are necessary for the binding and strength of the fabric.

We clearly show the exact composition of each product. Our materials are provided with the Global Recycled Standard quality mark and extensively tested on the basis of REACH according to the EU guidelines. No chemicals or water are used during the production process and CO2 emissions are minimal.

INNOVATIVE FELT PRODUCTION

Recycled Wool Felt

Our wool felt is made from regenerated wool fibres, certified with the Global Recycled Standard, whose skilful reuse of materials breathes new life into the environment while respecting the principles of the circular economy. Through the ragage process, garments are reduced to recycled fibres, separated by color and type. At the end of the production process, the tuft looks the same as freshly shorn wool, but no sheep is involved.

Our felt line consists of different thicknesses and colours. From plain to mottled and from gray to soft brown tones.

RECYCLED PET BOTTLES

PET felt

Almost everything nowadays is made of plastic, in other words: plastic. About 8 million tons of plastic ends up in the sea every year. We don't have to explain anymore that plastic waste is a big problem. There are a lot of discussions going on about plastic and bioplastic and many plastics are not yet recycled because they are 'polluted'. A solution seems to be bioplastic, but this remains a plastic that certainly cannot always be recycled.

Nevertheless, we have consciously chosen to use materials based on recycled plastics. This is because we reduce waste, reduce CO2 emissions and prevent 'new' materials from being used.

sturdy and colorful material

inflatables

Upcycling used bouncy castles creates a unique, cheerful and super creative material. It is sturdy, water-repellent and applicable in all kinds of bags and accessories. We process this material socially and locally and, of course, it is cleaned with a natural soap before we convert it into a new product.
